The aim of this empirical research is to highlight the contribution of School of Second Change in the social and career development of its students. For this purpose, a qualitative methodology was applied. Through deliberate sampling, eight students, participated in individual interviews. The findings highlight the important contribution of: a) literacy in working life and b) school in reconnecting with the rest of the education system.
The contribution of Second Change School specializes, through the life opportunities provided. Life opportunities mean: a) taking responsibility, b) self-support and c) joint contribution. The present research highlights the importance of a personalized "good practice agenda" which specializes, updates and is the culmination of a joint discussion between teachers and learners.
