Abstract
This paper highlights the issues of migration, the new multicultural reality that this implies for the host countries, and the challenges posed by educational policy through a bibliographic review. Initially, immigration is defined and its social and educational implications are expressed. The work focuses on the migratory wave towards our country and its consequences on the Greek educational system. The definition of multiculturalism is then clarified and a critical presentation of the educational multicultural management models is followed. Work completes with the challenges identified by the new multicultural reality that concern the organization and design of the education system.
