In this paper the authors propose new ways of exploiting education IT tools in research/work projects for teaching Music and present relevant implementation experience. Particular emphasis is placed on cooperative - online tools that can greatly facilitate group work and can be exploited even in collaborations between schools. Audio and video editing software that can be used in the context of digital audiovisual literacy is also presented. Finally, the work goes beyond the use of ready-made software and suggests the use of Scratch visual programming environment in the framework of cross - curricular Computer Programming - Music Research/Work Teaching Plans.
