The paper studies the institutional organizational frame of ecclesiastical education in Greece. This study is based largely on the identification and introduction of all those elements that from the foundation of the Greek state defined the institutional organizational frame of ecclesiastical Education. The paper depicts the current organizational framework and institutional form of ecclesiastical education, which is in line with contemporary legislation. Presents issues which arise and concern clergy and church (policies education, evaluation, curriculum etc.), highlighting the need for upgrading of the Ecclesiastical Education.
