Educational data have changed rapidly due to the spread of the Covid-19 epidemic and the replacement of traditional with distance learning. The purpose of this research is to investigate the extent to which this development has affected the educational development of high school students. Aiming to investigate this possibility, we have used the mixed research methodology. The research involved 147 senior students of public Lyceums in Cyprus. Questionnaire, focus groups and interviews were used as research tools. The analysis of the data showed that all participants and especially students who are characterized as people with learning disabilities were strongly influenced in the field of learning, by confinement at home, as they showed, among other things, lack of concentration and difficulty in understanding the lesson.
