The present study investigates the training needs of the Secondary Education Teachers in teenage pupils' dependencies. In particular, the views of the teachers of N. Viotia on the dependencies as well as the explicit educational needs of the teachers regarding the dependencies of the teenage pupils, are recorded. The methodological approach applied to the survey was quantitative, using questionnaire as the research tool for data collection. Participants were selected by random sampling. This research has concluded that teachers do face dependency phenomena at school. Regarding the educational needs of teachers, the results showed that teachers do not consider themselves adequately equipped and believe that their further training will contribute to the prevention of the addiction phenomena.
